In Memoriam: Joost van Dongen

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our colleague and active and respected member of the NVMS community and its committees, Joost van Dongen. Joost joined TU/e in 1988 and became a pivotal figure in analytical chemistry, building an internationally recognized laboratory and mentoring generations of students and researchers. His sudden illness ended a career marked by dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to colleagues and science.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, his children and his family and friends.
